In her role as Communications Officer at the SlashRoots Foundation, Kadia is responsible for crafting marketing and PR strategies to amplify the organisation's profile and promote our mission to make the promise of Jamaica real for everyone.
A graduate of the University of Technology (Utech), Kadia holds a BSc. in Law. She has over 10 years of experience as a digital communicator, community manager, strategist and digital literacy educator.
She is the Founder of Digital Jamaica, a tech based community dedicated to the promotion and growth of people and spaces in the local digital ecosystem. Committed to the digital literacy and upskilling of Caribbean Nationals she frequently speaks and presents on the role of digital literacy in national development as well as creating and delivering skills training programmes for public and private institutions.
