An exciting follow-up to our participation in the 2023 FORGE forum.

SlashRoots had an opportunity to submit a proposal under the FORGE experiments for change program. This initiative seeks to support the design and implementation of solutions that could 'transform the fields of global rights and justice'.

We are happy to announce that our 'Citizen Participation for the Roll Out of Digital National ID in Jamaica' proposal is one of four that have been selected for support this year, which means we are among the first cohort of the program.

Thank you to the NYU Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, and we look forward to working with the team to mainstream a solution(s) to this important issue.
